All events at the Nashville Speedway are off this season. This weekend’s event that was supposed to be held at the Speedway has been moved to Twin Fountains. It looks like Twin Fountains will be available on the dates of our Speedway events. Apparently there are too many standing handicap signs in the parking lot of the speedway.

Old Business:

We discussed the Bush series event we hosted at the new track.

Steve again brought up the fact that the club still has no insurance on the bus. Wendell has spoken with someone at K & K Insurance who is sending us a quote. Steve motioned for a vote on a dollar limit for insurance for the bus, so that when a quote comes in, the club’s officers can decide on the best offer and proceed with purchasing an insurance policy. This way, a check can be written and a policy can be purchased before another month goes by. Alan Sanders motioned for a $2000 limitation, and this was 2nded by Don Smith.

New Business

The new website, TRSCCA.com is now active. The old site, TRSCCA.org is being integrated into the new site. There is a discussion forum in the works on the new site.

There was discussion about the upcoming NASA event. Wendell will be the chief driving instructor at the events, and he will design the course with safety foremost in mind.
